Sofia Sotiria Mavrou (Actor/writer/producer)
Sofia is a North Wales-based filmmaker and actress of Greek origin, driven by a passion for storytelling and crafting complex narratives. Her award-winning short film 'An Impossible Secret' marked a powerful debut as a writer, director and producer, drawing inspiration from the story of an Italian prisoner of war in Wales during WWII.
Following the success of the film, she was delighted to be invited by Wild Filmmaker to join their community. Wild Filmmaker is a platform, magazine and community dedicated to independent cinema, founded my Michele Dioma. As a dedicated advocate for women in film, Sofia works to break down industry barriers and challenge stereotypes.
Currently, she's developing 'The Fatal Dilemma', a gripping 1940s film noir with a script that's garnered awards at international film festivals.
She’s excited to continue pushing the boundaries of storytelling and bringing new and innovative projects to life.
Robert Jee (Actor/producer/DP)
Robert is a British actor, writer, director and editor. His passion for acting began at an early age. He bought his first VHS video camera at the age of 23 in 1987. He started writing his own scripts and asked all his friends if they'd like to take part in his amateur film projects. In order to learn more about filmmaking, he decided to sign up to several acting agencies as a film extra and has appeared in both film and television. He has since become a professional actor.
Robert has collaborated with numerous high-profile celebrities in various capacities. Notably, he served as an Executive Producer and former Director of Photography for the comedy-drama TV pilot 'Henry House'. His cinematography work on the short film 'An Impossible Secret' has also earned him awards at international film festivals.
Robert is currently appearing in the latest short film “The Fatal Dilemma”, a film noir set in the 1940’s.
